The Paignton Constitutional Club is more than just a place to enjoy a drink. Behind our historic Palace Avenue frontage lies a spacious, multi-level venue equipped with premier social and sporting facilities for our members and guests.

The Coverdale Bar (Upper Main Bar)

The heart of the club’s daily activity, the Coverdale Bar is a warm and welcoming space perfect for a quiet pint or a catch-up with friends.

The Palace Lounge

Located through the main entry, the Palace Lounge offers a spacious environment for larger social gatherings and entertainment.

  • Live Entertainment: Host to our Saturday night bands, singers, and energetic discos.
  • Regular Events: The home of our popular Bingo nights, Quizzes, and Line Dancing sessions.

Dining & Functions

  • Function Hire: Our facilities are available for private hire, including wakes, meetings, and celebrations. We offer flexible buffet options starting from just £6.00 per person.

  • Inclusivity: We feature ramp access at the rear of the building for those with mobility issues.
  • Connectivity: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the club for all members.

The Snooker Room

For the cuesports enthusiast, our upstairs Snooker Room is one of the finest in Torbay.

  • Professional Standards: We house three full-sized snooker tables, two of which are maintained to match-play standards. 
  • Competitive Play: Home to some of the most successful snooker players in the region, with internal leagues and friendly matches available.

We believe that we are the cheapest in "the bay" at just £3 per hour.

Free snooker for members every Sunday from 11:30 am to 9:25 pm. ask for the override key at the bar.

Official league and club matches have priority.
